Saniose

The artist known as Saniose was born Juan Angel San José Román in Valladolid, Spain, in the 70s. He spent his childhood painting oils of vases and apples. He became obsessed with Baroque and Surrealist painters and at the same time tried to imitate comic book legends Sal Buscema and John Romita without stopping.

Movies have captivated him since he was a child, with 80s movie gems like The Goonies, Back to the future and Weird Science having a big impact on him. Saniose is a restless person and an eternal dreamer. He works with both digital and traditional painting. The artist likes to experiment and create wild and beautiful things.
