What would Jack "King" Kirby do with Masters Of The Universe?
We are thrilled to release a special collaboration with artists Tim Seeley & Mark Englert on a new licensed poster that is a tribute to the King* himself!
Mark had the following to say about the artwork:
"I'm a lifelong Kirby fan, and you probably are, too… even if you never realized it. I had the honor to color some of Kirby's work, a series of drawings he drew for a movie called, "Lord of Light" The story behind those drawings was dramatized in a little movie called "Argo" which, despite cutting the scenes featuring Jack Kirby out of the final release, went on to win a bunch of Oscars. I was instructed to color them in the neon, black light style of the Marvel Third Eye posters that came out in the 1970s and I had a great time doing it. So, when the chance to do something similar with Tim Seeley, another hero of mine and on He-Man! How could I pass it up?"
Tim commented:
"The only thing I like as much as the infinite imagination of Jack Kirby is the infinite possibilities of Masters of the Universe. I’ve been hanging Mark Englert’s LORD OF LIGHT posters everywhere so this is a perfect collaboration for me."
The Third Eye Of Eternia will be available as 24x18 screen prints, in a regular edition along with several small run Foil Variants!

*Jack Kirby is regarded as one of the most influential and prolific comic book creators ever and earned the nickname of the "King". Kirby co-created many of the most iconic Marvel characters with Stan Lee (The X-Men, Fantastic Four, and the Hulk). He created the Fourth World saga for DC which introduced Darkseid and the New Gods.
